Early 2018 was the last time me and the fantôme rapper discussed finishing the album. I wrote to him with the idea of simply putting out the rough versions we had (90% of the album was recorded but the vocal takes/sound quality wasn't always great). He thought it was a good idea but still had a couple ideas of things he wanted to add. He asked me for a beat that had a specific mood and I made this one for the purpose.
